Source: EU yet to present way of reconnecting Russian bank to SWIFT

ANKARA, Jul 3 (PRIME) -- The E.U. is yet to submit a clear mechanism of reconnecting a planned subsidiary of Russian Agricultural Bank to the interbank messaging system SWIFT for operations connected to grain exports and to save the deal, a source familiar with the Black Sea grain deal negotiations told PRIME on Monday commenting on the Financial Times report.

“Yes, these discussions have been held for some time already. But the E.U. has not yet presented any mechanisms. The situation may become clearer in July. The U.N. is also working on that,” the source said.
